Do you have a story to tell about Whatcom Creek?  We want to hear from you.

The current exhibit in our gallery space, A Creek Runs Through It, features large-scale photos of Whatcom Creek by Sam Bottman.

We are going to open our gallery for informal evening gatherings during the months of February and March to invite people in to tell their own stories about Whatcom Creek. We’ve already heard so many unique stories about people’s experiences with this important waterway that runs through the heart of our city. We want to give everyone a place to share these experiences with others in the community.

Right now, we are thinking that these gatherings would be on weekday evenings for an hour or two at a time, but we don’t have firm scheduling put in place yet.

Our first step is to hear from any of you who would like to tell a story.  These will be informal gatherings and we anticipate no more than 30-40 people per event. If you want to participate as a storyteller, please email margot@mindport.org with the text “Creek Conversations” in the subject line.
